Richard has a passion for bringing about change from the unlikeliest of sources and a joy for seeing the triumph of the underdog. He founded The Vyne Group with the aim of bringing together people who truly believe in making a difference in the areas of Environmental, Social and Governance. He has also worked with Virgin Unite's B Team over many years supporting wonderful initiatives such as 100% Human, the Climate Leaders Coalition, and the AI Committee.
His commercial highlights include creating and building innovative tech recruitment specialist Talent which grew from the humblest of beginnings in Perth Western Australia to a highly successful international operation generating over a billion dollars in revenue and a multitude of accolades and awards. As a passionate supporter of the start-up sector he created the Unleashed Awards working with Sir Richard Branson and Steve Wozniak, touring the world for amazing new ideas and companies to support and promote to the next level.
Sally Barker
Director of Consulting
A highly accomplished Client Delivery professional with over 20 years of leadership in global Technology and HR solutions. A natural optimist she is determined to lead positive change across the ESG spectrum through her work with The Vyne. She is currently studying Sustainability Leadership with Imperial College London.

James is Vyne Group’s Chief Sustainability Strategist, helping businesses turn big climate ambitions into real, measurable action. With a background spanning the Royal Navy, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Pyxera Global, he brings an expansive global experience across business, innovators, government, and non-profits. James is known for cutting through the noise, building strong teams, and helping organisations reduce their environmental impact while driving practical, economic and long-term change.

Nicky brings over a decade of experience spanning supply chain operations at Tesco, sustainability consulting across the UK and Australia, and an MBA in Circular Economy. She has worked at the sharp end of the problems most organisations are still trying to define.
Her focus is nature: helping organisations understand their dependencies and impacts, build credible strategies aligned to SBTN and TNFD, and embed change into business-as-usual rather than leaving it in a slide deck. She is hands-on, pragmatic, and outcome-led. She builds the case for change and then stays to make sure it happens.

Claire is a seasoned recruitment consultant with over a decade of experience delivering high-performance talent solutions across the UK and US.
Specialising in renewables and sustainability, she connects experienced talent with organisations driving the energy transition and wider climate agenda. Her work sits at the intersection of recruitment and impact, helping bridge the gap between sustainability strategy and delivery.
From early-stage climate ventures to global energy and infrastructure businesses, she supports organisations moving from intent to execution, building the capability needed for decarbonisation, circular economy outcomes, and system-wide change.
